Infertility is a condition affecting up to 15% of couples of reproductive age; in about 50% of cases, a male factor can be involved. Infertility has a profound effect on the couple and can be an important source of distress for both men and women. This distress is increased by the “social pressure” towards reproduction. In this video interview, Dr. Andrea Sansone, an endocrinologist and andrologist from Rome, Italy, provides some first-person recollections on male infertility and on strategies to cope with the distress.
